Elena first joined Asylum through the Beginner’s Olympic Weightlifting programme in 2019 and has since become the Professional Development and Welfare Officer for the club.
She takes the lead in ensuring that our coaches and wider members are kept up-to-date on any necessary education and qualifications required for club operations. Elena also provides a listening ear for athletes to ensure that they have someone to talk to about any concerns outside of their coaching sessions, and she can assist in directing them to helpful support.
